Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. You will assist with a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to maintain the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Record and update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the dental team and enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Dental Assisting Certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role.
  • Familiarity with dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
  • Proficient in using dental software and EHR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
