Job Summary:

The Veterinary Assistant provides essential support to the medical team in a fast-paced animal care facility, upholding the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in daily clinic duties and participating in special cleaning tasks
  • Providing exceptional client care through scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records
  • Communicating effectively with clients and medical staff
  • Reviewing and recording medical information, estimates, and discharge instructions
  • Answering phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

Requirements:
