Job Title: Foreman - Framing Company

KSB Builders is seeking a reliable and hardworking general laborer to join our framing company team. As a general laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the construction and framing of residential and commercial buildings.

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 Hour Work Week) Daylight in Winter months may affect scheduling to Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Two paid 15-minute breaks, one 30-minute unpaid lunch break every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Supervision: Managing and coordinating the framing crew to ensure that all framing work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and construction plans to guide the framing process and ensure that the structure meets design specifications.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that all framing work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and project standards, and conducting inspections to verify accuracy and quality.
  • Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation of materials and tools, and managing the workflow to optimize efficiency and productivity on the job site.
  • Training and Mentorship: Providing guidance and training to less experienced framers, fostering skill development and promoting best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the framing process, and finding solutions to keep the project on track

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required, but experience in construction or a related field is a plus
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy objects and working on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
