We're seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to join the team at a Casual Restaurant and ensure operations stay in top shape. If you're skilled in machinery maintenance, enjoy coordinating teams, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment, like HVAC, sound and lighting, pneumatics, and more.
  • Perform various tasks related to fabrication, materials processing, and equipment maintenance specific to restaurant environments.
  • Forecast and execute repairs or replacements of equipment components.
  • Coordinate with unit management to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Supervise multiple teams, including landscaping and custodial crews.
  • Serve as main contact with public utility, environmental, and energy agencies, as well as landlords.
  • Manage equipment installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including construction projects and acquisitions.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical records, tool inventory, and status reports.
  • Be available for varied work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with 24-hour on-call availability for emergencies.
  • Maintain the facilities budget and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.


Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, basic carpentry, and kitchen equipment maintenance, with HVAC knowledge or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to thrive in a physically demanding environment, involving heavy lifting and climbing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and email systems.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, building codes (e.g., electrical, plumbing, ADA), and OSHA regulations.
