Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure cost-effective availability of parts and supplies for fleet operations.
- Maintain accurate fleet records, including inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Enter fleet data into the computerized fleet management system on a daily basis.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors to manage ordering, receiving, and payment processes for goods and services.
- Prepare truck purchase orders for management approval, including general ledger code assignments. Process transactions using ePro.
- Receive, tag, stock, and distribute parts to mechanics in accordance with corporate, regional, and local policies.
- Verify purchase orders with the accounting department to ensure accuracy and proper invoice payments.
- Generate and review productivity and usage reports for management.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, contributing to team safety goals.
- Reconcile Dossier financial data with the Lawson general ledger.
- Assist the Fleet Manager in analyzing fleet operations reports by identifying trends, addressing data errors, and escalating critical issues as needed.
- Support parts organization and inventory management as required.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
