Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the flexographic department to produce high-quality printed materials according to client specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes make-ready in accordance with Job Tickets to ensure correct print cylinders, inks and substrates are being used.
  • Match colors as needed
  • Operates press to run in accordance with all written specifications while maintaining quality, waste and press efficiency.
  • Maintains consistent quality during the production run including: copy, color, registration and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on presses to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
  • Slit and rewind rolls into narrower rolls as needed.
  • Operate other equipment as needed. Hot Stamp, Laser Marking Etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in running flexo presses
  • Must be able to setup 4 color process jobs
  • Previous experience operating Webtron 750 preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
