Major Responsibilities:

·         Verify 1st offs at start of shift, tool changes and color changes

·         Monitor QC hold area; disposition log accordingly.

·         Perform part layouts

·         Perform gauge R & R’s

·         Perform capability studies

·         Perform ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 internal audits (if trained)

·         Implement containment activities as required

·         Perform line audits as required

·         Provide plant floor support

·         Assist in maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 systems

·         May initiate Quality Alerts

·         Ability to train others.

·         All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications Preferred:

·         High school diploma

·         One or two years of related experience

·         Good communication/interpersonal skills

·         Problem-solving ability

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks

·         Success in completion of Production Operator position

·         Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Language Ability:

·         Ability to read and interpret instructions and procedure manuals

·         Ability to follow and direct others according to written and verbal job instructions

Math Ability:

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; and lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs, bend and twist at the waist and knees. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  This position works under pressure of deadlines with interruptions occurring regularly.  While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to airborne particles and warm/humid conditions.  The noise level in the environment is moderate to high.
