Seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee day-to-day sales operations, coordinate with production department managers and sales/office staff, and facilitate overall operations of the sales and marketing team including but not limited to hiring/training sales staff, facilitating communication from upper management across the sales channels, generating leads, etc.

    • Weekly day range: Monday to Friday (possible weekend availability)
  • Pay Range - $65,000 to 100,000+ (annual)
  • Location: In-Office (remote work not permitted)

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors, Master’s Preferred
  • Experience level:
    • 10+ years sales experience.
    • 2+ years managing sales team preferred.
    • Background in quality management and manufacturing preferred.
    • Certifications such as Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL) or Certified Sales Executive (CSE).

Essential Functions:

  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Setting individual sales targets and delegating responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
  • Overseeing and coordinating the sales activities and performance of the sales team
  • Hiring and providing training, guidance and feedback to sales representatives and sales personnel
  • Preparing sales budgets, projections and reports and approving expenditures
  • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
  • Ensuring sales team have the necessary resources and tools to perform properly
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
  • Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
  • Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
  • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
  • Defining and executing territory sales plans
