Job description

We are seeking an individual highly motivated by sales to work for a FUN small business This will be a combination of both inside and outside sales, project management and assisting with retail/showroom window coverings and lighting sales. The earnings potential is unlimited for someone who is a self-starter, has a strong work ethic and enjoys working with people. The candidate will be expected to meet challenging sales goals and build clientele through creating comprehensive lighting solutions for residential and commercial lighting projects. Full training on our product lines and design will be provided along with one on one mentorship with the Senior Designer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create lighting packages for clients
  • Window covering packages for clients
  • Meet and exceed aggressive sales targets via outside and inside sales
  • Prospect and acquire new clients on a daily basis
  • Provide excellent customer service to facilitate a sale
  • Maintain professional client communication and follow up
  • Develop a strong product knowledge of the lighting and window covering manufacturers we work with
  • Manage email communication between clients, reps, manufacturers, the Fusion design team, etc.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experienced in all application of Microsoft Office suite, specifically skilled in the Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word applications.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with previous sales position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with Lighting, Design or the Building industry
  • General knowledge of placing sales orders and project management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Design, Public Relations or related field is preferred
