In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top Quantitative and Engineering talent to support Trexquant’s growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quant and technical talent market, exceptional sourcing abilities, and a passion for connecting with candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean searches, networking events, etc.) to identify and engage top technical professionals
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Screen and assess candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture
  • Engage with passive candidates and nurture relationships to convert them into active applicants
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in technical sourcing
  • Assist with other recruiting-related tasks and projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-5 years of proven experience as a sourcer or similar role, ideally with a focus on sourcing engineering or quantitative researchers (experience working as internal recruiter for a financial services company is a plus but not necessary, we welcome folks coming from agencies)
  • Proficient in using various sourcing tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates
