Star Nursing Has Urgent Needs for Caregivers (non-Licensed accepted)

 

Location: Sacramento CA

Facility: Assisted Living

Start Date: ASAP (this weekend if possible)

Length: Per Diem

Available Shifts: PM shifts 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

 

PAY RATES:

Local Rate :$18.00/hr (No Housing)

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Engage in companionship and recreational activities with the care recipient.
  • Provide emotional support and a listening ear to both the care recipient and their family.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the care recipient.
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by the family or primary caregiver. Keep accurate records of activities and any changes in the care recipient's condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
  • Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.
  • Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.


Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Further education may be beneficial.
  • Job experience as a in home caregiver.
  • Must have Current - BLS/CPR
  • A driver’s license may be strongly desired.
  • Updated Resume
  • A professional and friendly attitude. A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts.
