BakeMark has an immediate job opening for Warehouse Supervisor

With over 100 years of service to the baking industry, BakeMark is recognized as an industry leader and trusted partner for quality bakery ingredients, products, supplies and services. BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with 27 branches conveniently-located across the U.S.

Summary: Under general supervision, directs the activities of workers concerned with shipping and receiving of stored goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews results of productivity and compares them to established objectives, and takes steps to correct unsatisfactory results.
  • Follows up on all customer requests and questions to ensure appropriate response is made and customer is satisfied.
  • Oversees shipping, receiving, slotting, sanitation, equipment, and truck loading/ unloading.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts in conjunction with inventory analyst to ensure accuracy.
  • Invoices routes.
  • Ensure accurate inventory reporting and segregation of non-conforming product in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Production.
  • Prepares work schedules and expedites flow.
  • Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conforms to policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two year college degree or technical school; two to four years related supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Lift truck certification.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Microsoft Excel/Word; knowledge/working with WMS systems and HHC's (RF)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
