RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Managing crews, workflow, efficiency of work, and time (clocking in/out).
  • Maintaining Vehicles
    • Monitoring vehicle logs, vehicle maintenance, parking & violations
  • Managing Warehouse
    • Maintaining order of materials, equipment & trash in warehouse space 
  • Managing Materials
    • Keeping inventory of stock materials like mulch, soil, fertilizer, etc.
  • Responsible for interfacing with clients when needed.
    •  Relay communication with clients to Operations. Any client requests or concerns should be relayed to Operations for follow-up. 
  • Train new staff on maintenance, installations, and reinforce time tracking (clocking in/out)
  • Represent company when on site. 
  • Nursery Runs

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • at least 1 year of leading a horticultural and/or landscape team
  • At least 1 year of client-facing work (field operations focused)
  • A valid driver's license
  • be able to lift up to 60 lb's without assistance
  • strong internal and external communication skills'
  • During the holiday season (Nov to Jan) and occasionally during the landscape season (Mar to Oct) you will be working a 10 to 12 hour shift. (these seasonal periods are where most the OT comes from)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Employees can expect a lot of OT pay during the holiday season. Once OT is factored in, the expected total cash compensation for this role is, on average, between $60,000 and $70,000.
