Job Overview: The Apartment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of an apartment complex or residential community. They ensure that all apartments and common areas are well-maintained, safe, and meet the highest standards of quality for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:

    • Plan and schedule regular maintenance tasks such as HVAC servicing, plumbing inspections, electrical system checks, and structural repairs.
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and minimize disruptions to residents.

  2. Repair Coordination:

    • Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work performed by in-house maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
    • Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of maintenance issues reported by residents or identified during inspections.

  3. Tenant Relations:

    • Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and any disruptions to normal services.

  4. Budget Management:

    • Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, including cost estimation for repairs, supplies, and equipment.
