External Reporting Manager 

Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. The role involves close collaboration with the Finance department, both domestically and internationally, to ensure accurate accounting and reporting for the consolidated financial statements. Additional responsibilities include supporting the monthly financial close process, handling technical accounting projects, internal reporting, and providing financial support to corporate administrative leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other necessary filings with the SEC.
  • Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly financial statements and disclosures for quarterly earnings releases, including XBRL tagging, and coordinate reviews with legal counsel, the Audit Committee, and external auditors.
  • Monitor emerging U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance to ensure accounting procedures and disclosures remain compliant.
  • Review and analyze equity-based compensation for proper accounting treatment prior to grant and manage accounting for equity-based compensation and other comprehensive income.
  • Participate in the monthly financial close process, including consolidation, cash flow statement preparation, and lease accounting.
  • Serve as a resource for the global finance team on complex accounting topics, conduct research, and provide guidance on internal policy decisions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring timely and efficient quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Maintain documentation for SOX controls throughout the financial reporting and monthly/quarterly financial statement close processes.
  • Oversee SEC filing software, manage relationships with service providers, and handle annual contract renewals, training, and updates.
  • Provide direct financial support to corporate administrative leaders, including budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting functions.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by senior financial leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or as a financial analyst with progressive responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and technical research skills.
  • Comprehensive finance knowledge with the ability to identify high-risk areas and issues, and respond effectively.
  • Experience with SAP, OneStream, and Wdesk is preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently, solve problems, analyze data, and implement recommendations.
