Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in operating both fork and clamp attachments. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility.

Shift:

  • 1st and 3rd shift available
  • Must be open to work any shift
  • Must be open to work on weekends and overtime
  • Must be able to train for two weeks on a day shift

Skills:

  • Clamps Preferred
  • Forks Preferred
  • 1-2 years mandatory experience as a Forklift Operator

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator, with expertise in operating both forks and clamp attachments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklift equipment with both fork and clamp attachments to transport, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas with precision and care.
  • Conduct routine pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking materials and supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
