Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

1.     Lead and direct shift on Quality concerns and duties.

2.     Oversee quality of product produced

3.     Conduct first part inspection if quality tech is unavailable

4.     Train new employees as to their job function and coach employees to manage their work properly

5.     Provide proper paper documentation to the operators for their various scheduled jobs

6.     Enforce all rules and regulations set forth by the company

7.     Demonstrate, enforce, and ensure health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to by employees

8.     Attend necessary pre and post shift planning meetings coordinating information with other shifts

9.     Trouble shoot problems when necessary

10.  Consult higher authority in case of unsolvable problems or emergencies

Qualifications:

1.     This position requires reading, writing and math skills similar to those obtained through a high school education or equivalent.

2.     Must have working knowledge of all mills, presses, and equipment in their area of responsibility.

3.     Formal training may be considered as substitution for experience requirements. Basic computer skills and the ability to read blueprints            and schematics will also contribute to success in this position as well as good written and oral communication skills.
