Job DescriptionJob Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
* Establish time standards and enhance productivity by implementing changes that conduce to better work practices.
* Enhance cost reduction, quality and throughput by analyzing manufacturing process flows continually
*Provide tooling design help and recommendations. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or UGNX preferred.
*Review and update work instructions as needed
* Applies basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations.
* Provides production floor and assembly support in technical matters relating to assembly drawing interpretation, engineering change notices, rework, manufacturing difficulties and specifications.

Required:
* Aerospace Manufacturing/Shop Floor experience highly preferred
* Proactive, self-driven, highly enthusiastic individual
* Write work Instructions, tooling design, time and motion studies
*Understanding of Lean principles is preferred.
* Collect information and data to report detailed information regarding facility s production efficiencies.
* Advanced experience using MS suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project

* Entry level candidates with relevant intern experience
Education:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or related curriculum
* Basic knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles
