Job DescriptionJob Description

We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Product & Packaging Designer to join our client's team for a two month contract In this role, you'll play a key part in developing innovative designs for both our private label brands and licensed partnerships. You'll get to flex your creative muscles and bring new products to life, from concept to production.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the creative force behind the design and development of packaging and products for our private label and licensed brands.
  • Develop die line structures for packaging, ensuring functionality and visual appeal.
  • Craft a cohesive visual language that expands across entire product lines.
  • Design eye-catching layouts for all packaging components, including the principal display panel, side panels, and back panel.
  • Generate product and package renders, including pallet renders for club stores.
  • Prepare and edit design files for both pre-production (samples) and final production runs.
  • Secure marketing team approval for final designs before moving to production.
  • Organize and maintain design files, production-ready files, and outlined files in designated locations.
  • Archive final designs and renders for future reference.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of Technical Production & Packaging experience required
  • Technical knowledge to process prints (Examples: gloss layer, white on paper stock, etc.)
  • Basic Package Engineering knowledge for purposes of building die lines
  • Must have experience with packaging back-panel touch-ups for ingredients & nutritional info
  • This is a two month contract, you must be comfortable with this
