Job Description: As a Paint Preparator, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the workstations for our painters, ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepped and ready for painting. This includes taping/ masking and surface prep ( experience in an auto body or industrial setting would be relatable).
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free of debris, grease, and imperfections.
- Station Setup: Prepare and organize painting stations, including setting up necessary tools, equipment, and materials for painters.
- Inspection: Inspect surfaces and materials before painting to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or painting is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical skills for handling and maintaining preparation equipment.
