Job Description:

This role designs airframe structure for new programs, requiring an advanced knowledge of Catia V6 and Enovia, familiarity with airframe structure (sheet metal, extrusions, machinings, etc.), and appropriate communication/coordination skills to collaborate with support groups and drive designs through layout, routing, and release.

 

A typical day is spent modeling concepts and finalized layouts in Catia V6 and creating required drawings, as well as populating part information in Enovia for route/release.  Designers will be required to independently seek input from support groups and incorporating that feedback in order to progress and mature designs.

 

·        Coordinate designs with support groups, gather feedback and steer team to acceptable design solutions

·        Execute designs in Catia V6 and Enovia

·        Solid Detail Modeling

·        Assy/Instl Layouts

·        Drafting – Details and Assys/Instls

·        Enovia – BOM and Route/Release

Requirements:

·        Engineering Bachelor's Degree

·        Advanced Catia V6 knowledge – Sheet Metal, Part Design, Drafting

·        Familiarity with Client and Enovia

·        Communication Skills – collaborate with team and support groups constantly

Coordination Skills – independently incorporate feedback to progress and mature designs
