Court Data Research Specialist

COURT RESEARCH – Clark County, WA
As an individual (and not a government employee) you will visit the Clark County Courthouse in Vancouver, WA. Researcher will capture minimal data from public court records. Schedule is flexible during the court's hours of operation and court visits are flexible on a rotation schedule. All assignments demand fast turnarounds of 1 week or less. Only organized and deadline driven applicants should apply. Visit frequency 3-4 visits/mo and Estimated Income $35-$60/mo.
SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer savvy, ie. Familiar with opening and saving emails, downloads, spreadsheets, PDF, etc.
- Is meticulous, works independently with very little direction and exercises time management in meeting deadlines.
- Proficiently keys data with extreme accuracy.
- Initial handwriting of data may be required; data would then be keyed later into a pre-formatted spreadsheet.
- Maintains reliable transportation, childcare and internet access.
- Are physically able to walk extended distances (or have mobility transport) from the parking area to the courthouse doors and able to stand at terminals if seating is not provided in the Records Office.
- Type of work is unique to the industry and a learning curve initially should be expected and researcher must be willing to invest time to develop efficient skills.
