We are seeking a Commercial Property Manager to become a part of our team in Santa Monica. This is not a hybrid position. This role facilitates all commercial property management activities for an approximately 500,000 square foot portfolio of 7-10 retail and office properties. Salary based on experience.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day functions including AR, AP, and Repairs and Maintenance
  • Manage Lease Administration, critical dates, tenant notices
  • Oversee Tenant Improvements and Capital Improvements
  • Input and manage Yardi lease data for the portfolio
  • Prepare financial analysis, annual budgets, and CAM reconciliations
  • Manage vendor and tenant relations
  • Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
  • Update and improve properties to increase return on investment
  • Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
  • Supervise and train property staff
  • Enforce property rules and regulations
  • Provide upper management with a bi-weekly Portfolio Review

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3-6 years previous experience managing a retail center as Commercial Property Manager
  • Proficiency with inputting retail leases and managing tenant ledgers in Yardi Voyager
  • Proficiency in drafting and interpreting real estate contracts and leases
  • Strong vendor relations and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to oversee Tenant Improvements and Capital Improvements
  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet proficiency required
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
