Job Summary:

As a Service Technician at Target Air HVAC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality heating and cooling solutions to our valued customers. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HVAC System Installation:

  • Expertly service residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, hot water heaters, and ductwork.
  • Ensure installations are in compliance with industry standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.

2. Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and make necessary repairs with a focus on precision and efficiency.
  • Replace worn-out or faulty components and ensure the system operates at peak performance.

3. Customer Service:

  • Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their concerns and answering questions.
  • Provide recommendations for system upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, and preventive maintenance.
  • Educate customers on proper HVAC system operation and maintenance practices.

4. Quality Control:

  • Uphold the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in every project.
  • Conduct post-service inspections and quality checks to ensure systems are operating optimally.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

5. Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and certifications to ensure compliance with all codes and standards.

6. Professional Development:

  • Pursue continuous training and certifications to enhance skills and stay current with industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
  • +3 Years of relevant experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  • Commitment to upholding company values and delivering top-notch workmanship.

Job Type:

  • Full-time

Pay:

  • $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

 

Expected hours:

  • 40 per week
