Overview:
Join our team as an Oil Change Technician and be a crucial part of keeping vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. As an Oil Change Technician, you'll play a fundamental role in providing essential maintenance services to our fleet of vehicles, ensuring their safety and reliability on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services following established procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles for any signs of leaks, damage, or potential issues that may require attention.
- Replace oil filters, air filters, and cabin filters as needed.
- Check and top off fluid levels including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify any additional maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the service bay and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and coworkers.
- Utilize computerized systems for documenting services, tracking inventory, and scheduling appointments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in automotive maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance or a related field preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
