Traffic Control Supervisor

- Keep workers aware of traffic conditions.
- Place warning signs to alert drivers.
- Remove signs, cones, and barriers after the job is complete.
- Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on safety throughout all job functions.
- Lift, carry and place traffic cones to ensure the safety of the work zone. Lifting may be up to 50 lbs.
- Lift, carry, place and assemble traffic control signs in the proper order to manage work zone traffic.
- Follow Company and state guidelines for effective, safe well managed work zones.
- Keep equipment in trucks well organized and in working order.
- Develop superior knowledge of Work Zone Setup and Professional Flagging responsibilities.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
- This includes on-time arrival and well managed work zones.

Work Environment
Inclement weather such as Rain, Snow, Gail force winds cause cancelation of work.
Work is generally alongside active Roads, Highways and Freeways.
Work can also be near bridges, and overpasses.
Most of the work is outdoors exposed to the elements.
Work is also performed under conditions that may expose staff to dust, smoke, electricity, railroad traffic, loud noise, and uneven footing, standing long hours and other associated worksite conditions.
During the course of your duties, you may be subject to verbal abuse from motorists. Our staff are expected to act in a professional manner and not permit themselves to be provoked.
You will be required to wear additional PPE such as a Hard Hat and safety glasses on all worksites.
Install, remove and reset delineators, signs, posts and supports.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
