in2itive Business Solutions is a leading medical billing firm offering full range revenue cycle management services to Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Physician Practices nationwide.

The Patient Services Representative role provides exceptional telephone support and performs other duties associated with the patient billing process, including but not limited to, generating patient statements to collect outstanding patient balances while adhering to HIPAA compliance, privacy and confidentiality standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years general office environment experience required.
  • Excellent telephone customer service skills required.
  • Experience in the medical insurance field is preferred but not required.
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word with good written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and multitask required.
  • Ability to work the hours of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm CST Monday thru Friday.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Answer incoming patient billing inquiries.
  • Follow up on accounts with outstanding balances that do not have appropriate payment arrangements.
  • Manage a patient balance aging queue.
  • Review patient balances for collections and turnover to third party as needed.
  • Provide phone coverage and support to other staff as needed.
  • Professional attitude and teamwork mentality required.
  • Other assigned duties as needed.
