Job DescriptionJob Description

Sink Maker IIIP – Press Operator

 

 

1. Handles stainless steel sheets and bowls in progressive phases of the forming process. Applies lubrication using manual and automated systems.

 

2. Use HMI (Human Machine Interface) to program settings for individual bowl types.

 

3. Loads and unloads hydraulic presses.

 

4. After bowl is formed, uses shear to trim excess steel and mechanical press to pierce drain hole per blueprint specifications.

 

5. Stacks or palletizes completed bowls for transport to other areas within the facility.

 

6. Use hand-held air tools to polish bowls for inspection.

 

7. Completes quality and production documentation and scans product using handheld scanner through phases of the operation.

 

8. Operate motorized die setting equipment, handling dies in excess of 15,000 lbs.

 

9. Must be able to read various measuring devises to include: caliper, tape measure, micrometer, depth gauge, various go/no go devices.

 

10. Must be able to perform simple math, such as converting fractions to decimals, for HMI entry.

 

11. Other duties and tasks as assigned.
