About the Position:

The Head of IT, Land Vehicles Americas (LVA) will be responsible for driving a digital transformation agenda in the LVA segment. On an ongoing basis this person will ensure that customers receive a high level of technical support and service while working with segment leaders to drive a strategic technology change agenda. The ideal candidate will possess experience leading large programs such as systems implementations, have a strong proclivity for providing exceptional IT services, and a strategic mindset. They will build relationships with leaders across the LVA segment, other segment Heads of IT and the Global CIO to translate enterprise IT initiatives to the segment. This position reports to the segment CFO and will be in Elkhart, IN, Rosemont, IL or Troy, MI.


General Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with business groups and their leaders across the enterprise and develop a detailed understanding of their IT challenges and opportunities. Ensure transparency and collaboration between the IT organization and other business functions including business application owners.
  • Develop and execute on an IT vision, Digital Change Agenda, and roadmap for Dometic Land Vehicles Americas.
  • Responsible for the entire Dometic Land Vehicles Americas Business Application organization, processes & budget

Ensure, on an ongoing basis, that:

  • Current and planned technical architecture, investments and solutions are aligned with company/segment business objectives.
  • Business critical applications, SaaS solutions and underlying infrastructure are built and run according to defined security and compliance standards.

Together with other business functions in the segment:

  • Lead the modernization and consolidation journey for the ERP landscape.
  • Lead the necessary digitalization to support targets to increase level of e-commerce (B2B and D2C)
  • Develop and execute a segment wide Data strategy & future roadmap for business intelligence and AI.
  • Prepare and monitor a segment IT budget that meets prevailing objectives and constraints.
  • Be an active member of the Dometic Global IT Management Team and be a strong contributor to the development and execution of group wide IT strategy, roadmaps, and guidelines.
  • Develop and execute the move to cloud strategy (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage scale and synergies in a global organization.
  • Explore new technology (e.g., IoT, RPA, AI) to improve internal efficiency and support Seamless Flows
Requirements:

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

  • 15 years’ experience in technology, including a minimum of 7 years in a leadership position.
  • Experience in leading teams with a successful track record of growing and developing others.
  • Gravitas and business acumen to interact at the most senior levels of the organization.
  • Experience in leading large-scale business & IT Transformation programs in business applications such as HR, Supply Chain and Manufacturing systems
  • Experience in global, publicly traded companies with a strong growth agenda, mainly through M&A is a plus.
  • Experience leveraging teams and relationships successfully in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading a P&L or IT budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent
