Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for "System Engineer I" based out of Pleasanton, CA.

Duration: Long-Term Contract (High possibility of extension)

Job Summary:

Participate in technical projects per the client's Life Cycle Management and product development processes.

Responsibilities:

• After introduction to work processes, begins to organize, conduct and monitor laboratory experiments utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding. Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results. Summarizes experimental results, and reviews conclusions with supervisors/project leader. Communicates results of experiments.
• Evaluates new equipment and techniques.
• Assesses results for applicability, validity, and conformance to Product Requirements.
• With guidance, analyzes and brainstorms alternative approaches to solve problems and find solutions.

Qualifications:

• B.S. with Bio-medical engineering or Bio-engineering
• 0-3 years of industry experience
• Preferred - Medical device experience
