Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and program CNC machining processes for new projects.
  • Set up and maintain various CNC machines.
  • Select cutting tools and work-holding tools for new projects.
  • Provide training to machine operators for each new setup/process.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine and program errors.
  • Update and modify outdated programs to implement the latest cutting techniques and lean methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety control standards.
  • Maintain and improve daily productivity.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of setup experience in-house or with a previous employer.
  • Programming experience: In-house training and trade school or minimum of 2 years programming experience with Swiss Screw machines.
  • Knowledge of program software (TB-Deco or similar).
  • In-house QSP training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Swiss Screw Machine operation experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
