Seeking Full-Time Legal Assistants for In-Office Role


We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Legal Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a law firm.


In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team and assisting with various tasks related to case management and client communication. If you are excited about contributing meaningfully to a dynamic legal team, we encourage you to apply for this position. This role requires your physical presence at our office in Rocklin, CA.

Compensation:

$21 - $23 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • E-filing court documents is a key task for the Legal Assistant.
  • The Legal Assistant is responsible for managing scheduling, including hearing dates, client meetings, and phone calls.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients is a crucial duty of the Legal Assistant.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, sorting, dating, and routing them appropriately.
  • Proofreading and formatting various legal documents is a key task for the Legal Assistant.
  • Welcoming clients to in-office meetings with attorneys is an important part of the Legal Assistant's role.
  • The Legal Assistant should be prepared to take on any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology.
  • Notary Public (preferred).
  • Experience in estate planning and estate administration firm (preferred).
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Clio.
  • 3 years experience as a legal secretary in a law firm.
  • Comfortable with technology including Word, case management, document management, legal research platforms, e-filing, etc.
