Summary

  1. Responsible for maintaining Alphaland’s facility through quality sanitation, janitorial and general maintenance services.

Preferred Education

  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Essential Job Duties

  1. Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer service.

Additional Job Duties

  1. Ensure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentable
  2. Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables
  3. Clean and organize storage, laundry, and exercise floor
  4. Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor
  5. Provide maintenance on all equipment
  6. Use janitorial equipment appropriately and efficiently
  7. Receive and store all deliveries
  8. Identify safety hazards and/or broken equipment / Notify the Facility Manager and Technician when any rooms or equipment need immediate attention
  9. Assist with special events
  10. Other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills / Experience

  1. Previous customer service experience
  2. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Preferred Skills / Experience

  1. Basic cleaning skills
  2. Works well independently and has strong time management skills

Physical / Environmental Demands

  1. Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing for long periods of time, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
