CONCEPT CONNECTIONS: REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:

• Clinical Director (CD) and Practice Manager (PM)

• Collaborates with CC staff, outside providers, WRA staff and parents

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, college experience in any field preferred.

• Must have and maintain RBT certification.

• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR and first aid certifications.

• Ability to obtain and maintain crisis prevention certification as assigned by Concept Connections.

• Follow supervision requirements as outlined by the BACB, including maintaining credentials.

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Must have experience and passion for working with children/adolescents on the autism spectrum.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must maintain reliable transportation.

• Must office at assigned center 8:00 – 5:00 Monday through Friday (unless otherwise specified by upper

management).

• Must travel between Concept Connections centers when needed for trainings and events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and

fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, move and/or support up to 50 pounds (and/or up to adult size body

weight with two-to-three-person lift). Position can require some physical interaction with clients who have

difficulty controlling physical behavior.
