Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will play a pivotal role in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition. You will collaborate closely with individuals, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and positive outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBA), and functional analyses (FA) to determine the function and underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the results of assessments and functional analyses, utilizing evidence-based strategies.
- Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity and monitor progress regularly.
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to behavior technicians and other team members involved in implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment findings, behavior intervention plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Stay current with the latest research, developments, and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to train and supervise behavior technicians and effectively communicate behavioral strategies.
- Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and caseload.
