Kasco Marine, Inc is seeking a full-time Full Stack Developer at our home office in Prescott, WI. This will be a hybrid role with regular onsite attendance required.

Kasco Marine is a leading supplier and innovator of aerators, diffused aeration, floating decorative fountains, de-icing products, circulators, and tank mixers. Position Overview: We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong programming skills. This is an opportunity for the right person to be a part of an exciting evolution of our business as we build and improve systems that are critical to our continued success and growth. The Full Stack Developer will be a key member of our growing Systems team and will work with Kasco’s Marketing department and design partners to continuously improve our website and connected systems. The Full Stack Developer will also support and work in tandem with our in-house Software Developer to ensure stable integrations and connections throughout Kasco’s front- and back-end systems. The ideal candidate for this position will also have aptitude and experience with, or willingness to learn, applications and languages listed below. Requirements:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee web design and development for kascomarine.com, coordinating and/or performing continuous updates (WordPress, html, css).
  • Design user interactions on web pages, both B2B and B2C audiences and markets.
  • Develop customer portal, integrating ecommerce features and functionality (WooCommerce).
  • Use responsive web design for desktop, tablet, and mobile optimization.
  • Design and develop APIs; managing integrations with Google tools, Kasco’s CRM (Infor CRM), and marketing automation tools (Inbox Guru).

· Collaborate with Kasco’s Software Developer to ensure workflow and data integrity through front- and back-end systems and applications (JavaScript, ruby/rails, python/flask).

· Support development activities including object-oriented programming (C#, vb.net), scripting (VBScript), and relational databases (SQL server, PostgreSQL), svn (git).

· Work directly on software architecture and design projects.

  • Work closely with Kasco’s Marketing team and graphic design partners.
  • Oversee projects from conception to finished product.
  • Meet both technical and consumer needs.
  • Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations related to tools and features on our website and in our internal applications.
  • Independent problem solving and learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications.
