The Vice President of Procurement is responsible for leading all procurement activities throughout the global organization with the mission of supporting the company's business strategy by developing and managing a supply chain that enables a sustainable competitive advantage.

  • Develop and execute a procurement and strategic sourcing strategy.
  • Measures and reports the effectiveness of sourcing strategy and execution to Senior Management
  • Implement and execute procurement activity
  • Benchmarking of all insourced and outsourced materials, strategic and profitability tradeoffs, revenue risk, and supply diversification.
  • Ensure the appropriate sourcing technologies and tools to maximize human capital efficiency and appropriate rigor to procurement policies and procedures.
  • Ensure products and services are delivered promptly.

  • Follow compliance and regulations.
  • Engages in change management activities necessary to gain acceptance and buy-in of concepts. E
  • Benchmarks with internal and external sources to identify and translate the best procurement practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplinary area, required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or related disciplinary area, preferred.
  • Minimum, fifteen (15) years of experience in a leadership role of similar scope, required.
  • Minimum, ten (10) years of direct supervisory experience, required.
  • Successful transformation of de-centralized to centralized procurement organization preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement systems and strategies e.g., technologies, SSMF, VC
  • Ability to craft and champion a business case. Demonstrated consulting and change management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to interpret contracts.
  • Strong research and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills.
