Schedule
- 1st Shift: 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate
- $18 - $20 / hour
Job Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain all process equipment per standard operating procedures (preventive maintenance and calibration).
- Order parts and supplies to service this equipment; Assist in setup and calibration of this equipment.
- Assist in installation and modification of process equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspections of the facilities and maintain list of tasks to maintain the facilities in good operating condition.
- Operate boiler. Maintain boiler feed water system to include sampling, replenishment of chemicals, etc.
- Maintain HVAC Systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems in compliance with the building lease terms.
- Maintain other critical utilities to include Compressed Air system, dust collectors, fume hoods, and exhaust fans.
- Work with contractors and service personnel to maintain plant safety and security equipment including burglar and fire alarm systems, fire safety equipment.
- Maintain facilities, laboratories and office areas; Perform general building maintenance repairs and services.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School or equivalent required
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
Minimum Experience:
- 1 - 3 years of experience
Minimum Field of Expertise:
- Ability to perform repetitive work and meet company standards.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
- Appropriate personal hygiene.
- Excellent accuracy/attention to detail.
- Good basic communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Carrying: transporting an object, usually by hand, arm, or shoulder.
- Climbing: ascending or descending objects usually with hands/feet.
- Fingering: picking, pinching, or otherwise working with fingers.
- Handling: seizing, holding, grasping, or otherwise working with hand(s).
- Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds by the ear.
- Kneeling: bending legs to come to rest on one or both knees.
- Lifting: raising or lowering an object from one level to another.
- Pulling: exerting force on an object so that it is moving to the person
- Pushing: exerting force upon an object so that the object is away.
- Reaching: extending the hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Repetitive motions: making frequent movements with a part of the body.
- Standing: remaining on one's feet in an upright position.
- Talking: expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words.
- Walking: moving about on foot.
- Ability to wear personal protective clothing/equipment and hearing protection where required.
Vision Requirements:
- Near Acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
