We are collaborating with a growing fintech startup to find a talented Senior Financial Controller. This project-based role is your chance to make a significant impact on their financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy: Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support the startup's growth and profitability.

  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage the company's budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights to stakeholders and support decision-making.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of junior finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to help guide business strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in financial management, with a track record in a similar role. Experience within the fintech sector is a plus.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency in financial software and systems.

  • Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, proactive, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, team-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
