Job Description:
SharpContra is seeking a motivated and skilled Communications Coordinator to join our team in Birmingham, AL. The Communications Coordinator will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our audience. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that align with SharpContra’s goals and objectives.
  • Create and distribute content across various platforms, including social media, email, and the company website.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  • Manage public relations activities, including press releases and media inquiries.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain and update the company’s communication materials, including brochures, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Support event planning and coordination, including corporate events and product launches.
  • Assist in crisis communication and reputation management efforts.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a communications or public relations role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with media relations and event planning is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging content.
