Position Title: Strip Etch Strip Machine Operator

Location: Oshkosh

Pay: $17

Shift: 2nd 3p - 11p


Job Overview:

The Strip Etch Strip Operator is responsible for running processes that remove dry film, tin, and base copper from products. This role ensures that all procedures are followed to meet quality standards while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Main Duties:

  • Operate chemical processing equipment according to instructions.
  • Inspect products visually and with microscopes to ensure quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment like pumps, heaters, and water lines.
  • Monitor chemical baths and report any inconsistencies to lab personnel.
  • Add chemicals and change baths as required to keep the process running smoothly.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist lab staff when needed.
  • Identify defective products and determine their cause.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.


Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation.
