We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage our IT operations across all locations. This full-time position requires a hands-on professional who can handle on-site maintenance, remote support, and collaborate with our senior IT specialist to ensure optimal performance and security of our IT systems.


Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance & Support:

  - Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure systems run efficiently.

  - Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.

  - Monitor and manage the health of computers and other IT equipment.

  

- Hardware Management:

  - Install, configure, and repair hardware such as computers, x-ray sensors, intraoral cameras, and other dental equipment.

  - Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and ensure timely upgrades and replacements.


- Software & Systems:

  - Manage dental practice management software and ensure it integrates seamlessly with other systems.

  - Oversee cloud-based computing systems and ensure data security and backup protocols are followed.

  

- Network Administration:

  - Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure including servers, routers, and switches.

  - Ensure secure and efficient data flow across all locations.

  

- Collaboration & Communication:

  - Work closely with the senior IT specialist to develop and implement IT strategies.

  - Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in an understandable manner.

  - Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems.

  

- Compliance & Security:

  - Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.

  - Ensure all IT systems are secure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

  

- Project Management:

  - Lead and participate in IT projects to improve and expand the company's technology capabilities.

  - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for the procurement and maintenance of IT resources.

  

- Infrastructure Installation:

  - Perform minor infrastructure installations, including running cables and adding wall plates.

  - Handle minor construction tasks associated with IT setup and expansion.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare or dental environment.

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.

- Familiarity with dental practice management software and cloud-based computing.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between locations.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.

- Experience with cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
