Job Role: Guidewire Solution Architect

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire implementations, architecture design, and a deep understanding of the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry. As a Guidewire Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire solutions to meet our business needs and strategic goals.

Job Description:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry.

Proven experience with Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) implementations and customizations.

Strong knowledge of Guidewire architecture, configuration, and integration.

Proficiency in Java, Gosu, and related technologies.

Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and integration middleware.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud-native architectures.

Guidewire Certified Architect

Guidewire Certified Configuration Developer

Design and architect Guidewire solutions, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter, to meet business requirements and industry best practices.

Develop detailed architecture blueprints, including data models, integration architecture, and technical specifications.

Lead and oversee the implementation of Guidewire solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Design and implement integrations between Guidewire systems and external applications, including legacy systems, third-party services, and data sources.

Customize Guidewire applications to address specific business needs, leveraging Guidewire's configuration and customization capabilities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery of Guidewire projects.

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Ensure adherence to Guidewire implementation best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.

Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to development teams to maintain high-quality standards.

Create comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, technical specifications, and user guides.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end-users on Guidewire solutions and best practices.
