Sir Speedy, a locally owned and nationally recognized Signage, Printing, and Marketing Services company in Iredell County is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative. We work with a dynamic and interesting client base ranging from Museums and Non-Profits to Manufacturing, Real Estate, Contractors, Construction, and beyond. Our Outside Signage Sales Representative works closely with our customers, Support Team, and Production Team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales, enhancing the client experience, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibility Overview:
- Establish and maintain profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company.
- Actively prospect for new accounts and maximize sales potential with existing customers.
- Represent the company by conveying expertise in our services and capabilities.
- Establish relationships with the community and business accounts.
- Types of Signs: Understand indoor and outdoor signs, materials like vinyl, acrylic, and metal, lighting options (LED, neon, backlit), and the differences between temporary and permanent signs.
- Installation Processes: Know various installation methods, the importance of site surveys, and the permitting process.
- Product Knowledge: Be aware of customization options, durability, and maintenance requirements.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on emerging technologies and environmental considerations.
- Case Studies and Portfolio: Maintain a portfolio of past projects and share success stories from satisfied clients.
- Technical Specifications: Understand design file requirements and color matching techniques.
- Prospecting for New Customers: Develop new business, target key prospects, and retain business.
- Product Presentation: Discuss products and services to convey quality, integrity, and superior customer understanding.
- Sales System Compliance: Understand and comply with the sales system/program in place.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop annual sales strategies in conjunction with management and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable.
- Technology Proficiency: Stay current on new technology.
- Effective Communication: Communicate regularly with management, marketing, and production teams to ensure sales and customer objectives are met.
