Geodesicx, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in the Charleston, SC area for a vital role in a complex vehicular C4ISR/EW initiative. This role is essential for the design, integration, and management of the project's intricate systems, with a particular focus on leveraging advanced technologies and software tools such as Rational Asset Manager, Rational Team Concert, CMPro, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.


Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of comprehensive system designs. This includes utilizing SolidWorks for detailed 3D modeling and AutoCAD for precise technical drawings, ensuring that all components are accurately represented and integrated. The role also involves using Rational Asset Manager for effective asset management, Rational Team Concert for workflow coordination, and CMPro for configuration management.
  • Oversee the entire system development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. This encompasses conducting thorough system analyses, developing specifications, and creating solutions that align with the project's operational requirements. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is desired for designing and visualizing complex components and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with various project teams, especially in activities related to Software Design Reviews, Requirement Review Boards, and Engineering Review Boards. A deep understanding of the specific system requirements, coupled with the ability to efficiently integrate and manage these resources, is essential.


Requirements:

The Systems Engineer’s role is key to the successful operation and advancement of the C4ISR/EW systems, ensuring they meet the goals and standards of the sponsoring organization.

  • Extensive experience in systems engineering, particularly in environments utilizing SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rational Asset Manager, Rational Team Concert, and CMPro.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines are crucial.
  • Effective management and execution of complex systems engineering tasks will be a primary measure of success in this position.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline from an ABET Accredited program

Security Clearance:

  • Must be eligible to hold and maintain a SECRET clearance.
