We are seeking to expand our sales department and are looking for dedicated and personable salespeople to join our team. In this role, you will consult with homeowners and business owners at appointments pre-scheduled for you, and others you have self-generated or previously cold called. Your goal? To diagnose the issues they are experiencing with their home or business and provide the best solution for them.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed proposals outlining recommended services, pricing, and timelines- ensuring clear communication of the benefits and value of the solutions offered
  • Excel in door-to-door sales, actively generating leads and establishing client connections.
  • Generating sales leads, maintaining and developing customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities. 
  • Complete indoor, outdoor, and crawlspace inspections as needed
  • Stay updated on the latest products, techniques, and regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients, fostering trust and credibility
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure seamless execution of treatment plans, providing necessary insights and instructions for successful implementation
  • Serve as a problem solver to identify the most efficient and effective solution for each customer's needs
  • Proactively identify and cultivate leads through direct outreach, referrals, and participation in community events to expand customer base
  • Communicate respectfully with customers and team members


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in the residential real estate, home inspection, or home improvement industries is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with pest control and lawn care industry practices, products, and terminology preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, present solutions, and negotiate terms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a pipeline of leads, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets
  • Ability to handle rejection, overcome obstacles, and maintain a positive attitude in a competitive sales environment
  • Willingness to collaborate with technicians, other sales team members, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is preferred, but not required
  • Skilled in operating computer software (we will train you)
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be comfortable working independently in tight spaces
  • Ability, and comfortability, to fit/work in crawlspaces to perform inspections
  • Ability to walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
  • Must have a high school diploma or higher
  • A valid ID and safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen
  • Ability to work overtime, if needed
