With in-house engineering expertise and automated technologies for superior quality, PMT is a flexible and accessible partner when you can’t afford any errors.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare molds and inserts in advance according to Master Production Schedule
  • Responsible for removing and installing molds in a variety of sizes and molding machine sizes based on production schedule in a timely and efficient manner
  • Use overhead cranes to set molds
  • Setup secondary equipment as required for the job (conveyors, thermolators, hot runner controllers, EOAT`s, Secondary operations assemblies, etc.)
  • Clean and spray all molds to be removed from the press after a job order is completed
  • Transport scheduled molds from mold rack or Tool Room and stage by the press
  • Transport molds that have completed running a job and store back to Mold rack or Tool Room
  • PM platens and platen holes, maintain log for platen maintenance
  • Refurbish water hoses on mold set up cart
  • Maintain cleaning cart as needed and required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Plastics Injection Molding - specifically in the areas of Plastic Injection Mold Changes and Setup
  • Basic Knowledge of Plastic Injection Molding
  • Must possess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Able to work with a diverse group of people
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; talk or listen
  • The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; lift overhead; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as keyboarding and assembling small parts
  • Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of standing
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
