Position Overview: We are seeking a Junior Power Automate Developer to join our IT Software Development Services (ITSS) team. This role offers an opportunity for growth and development in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Power Platform tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The Junior Power Automate Developer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, gaining valuable experience in application development, integration, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to assist in the design and development of applications within SharePoint and Power Apps, under the guidance of senior developers, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Support the development, testing, and maintenance of custom applications using PowerApps Studio and other Power Platform tools, following established best practices and coding standards.

  • Assist in gathering and documenting application requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and contributing to the technical specifications under supervision.

  • Participate in testing activities to ensure applications meet quality standards and perform as expected, providing feedback and assisting in implementing enhancements and updates.

  • Aid in updating Azure DevOps with progress on requirements, user stories, use cases, and tasks, contributing to project tracking and transparency.

  • Learn to leverage PowerApps Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and PowerShell for application development tasks and data integrations.

  • Develop additional skills and knowledge in alignment with team needs and new technologies introduced in the environment, actively seeking learning opportunities.

  • Assist in documentation efforts, maintaining records of application development processes, configurations, and changes, and contributing to the documentation of SharePoint configurations.

  • Provide support to end-users, under supervision, by troubleshooting application-related issues and assisting in the creation of user documentation and training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in software development or a related field.

  • Basic understanding or exposure to Power Platform tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and PowerShell is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $59,927 to $120,460 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
