Key Responsibilities:

Digital Sales Strategy:

  • Develop effective marketing campaigns for digital applications like Shopify, Instagram, and Facebook to generate sales and build brand awareness.
  • Work with buyers to develop a group sales strategy by partnering with key vendors, membership, spa, and hotel leads.
  • Continuously analyze online sales data and group sales performance to ensure maximum effectiveness and budget goals.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our Shopify stores, including product uploads and inventory management for shophoustonian.com, .www.sagenbloom.com
  • Ensure the websites are constantly updated with the latest product offerings, prices, and promotions.
  • Continuously improve the user interface and shopping experience to enhance customer satisfaction and driver conversions.
  • Implement best practices in user experience design and navigation.
  • Create and manage product descriptions for online platforms and place orders to support sales.
  • Understand the life cycle of products, inventory status, and seasonal demands related to hotel, club, and spa.
  • Recommend updates, templates, and apps to keep sites fresh and compelling.
  • Develop quarterly promotions to feature on websites.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to capitalize on posts.
  • Devise Direct Message sales through Instagram and FB posts.
  • Work with buyers and vendors to secure professional images, content, pricing, and drop dates.
  • Develop sales strategy and collateral to service members, guests, and clients for their gift-giving, team building, or employee incentive needs.
  • Specific segments for shopping related to our clients: weddings, special events, corporate and spa gift giving
  • Prepare an annual content calendar that can be edited and monitored by the marketing and buying team.
  • Create seasonal lookbooks to present to Corporate Group Sales Managers and Event Planners.
  • Manage on-hand inventory to meet sales trends.
  • Understand logistics when adding products related to procurement and fulfillment to the websites.
  • Meet with key vendors to gather insight on products for website and corporate sales.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize Shopify analytics to monitor and analyze trends.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify areas of improvement and recommend actionable strategies for enhancing online and group sales growth.
  • Continuously optimize ad campaigns to improve click-through rates (CTR) and return on ad spending.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to make data-driven recommendations for marketing strategies.
  • Performs additional duties as required in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 3+years of E-commerce experience in apparel and accessories; wholesale/retail environment is preferred
  • Exceptional time management skills: ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sales, or related fields or equivalent years of related work experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Logical, process-oriented person who already understands how to execute campaigns
  • Professional demeanor; comfortable presenting to and interacting directly with clients and co-workers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Basic photo and video editing skills for creating content specific to Shopify and product lookbooks
  • Strong creative and design sensibilities, able to create engaging visual content
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for staying on top of industry trends and leveraging emerging opportunities in social media
  • Microsoft Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Database-related programs

Physical Requirements:

Sitting/Standing:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time at a desk
  • Regular standing to access files, merchandise, perform inventory checks, or to assist team members

Manual Dexterity:

  • Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including photocopiers, fax machines, and phone systems
  • Handling, sorting, and organizing paperwork and files

Lifting:

  • Ability to lift and carry inventory, merchandise, and other related items weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis

Mobility:

  • Ability to move around the office space, walk to and from departments or office sections
  • Ability to bend or stoop on a regular basis, with ability to walk throughout Campus

Vision:

  • Close vision required for reading computer screens, documents, and files
  • Ability to adjust focus for tasks such as data entry, reading, and proofreading

Hearing:

  • Ability to hear and understand spoken instructions, phone calls, and in-person conversations

Speech:

  • Clear speech and communication skills necessary for telephone communication and face-to-face interactions

Environmental Tolerance:

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment with controlled temperature settings
  • Tolerance to the sound levels typically present in an office environment, such as printers, phones, and light conversations

Endurance:

  • Capacity to maintain productivity and efficiency, performing multiple tasks simultaneously
