Requirements:

Essential Functions

• The Software Engineer is responsible for reviewing current software, processing, analyzing and presenting ideas for improvement as needed.

• Develops, revises, and/or implements new applications to continually improve production.

• Responsible for troubleshooting, supporting, and maintaining backend systems currently in production, and improving and maintaining existing backend infrastructure.

• Develops and improves new software ideas and programs in order to improve efficiency and performance.

• Ability to work with the customers/employees in difficult situations by balancing technical knowledge and people skills.

• Prepares, revises, and/or implements documentation and usage guides for software development.

• Collaborates within a team environment and contributes ideas for consideration.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Core Competencies

· 5+ years of experience as a software developer, in Functional specifications, Analysis, Design, Modelling, Development, Configuration, Management and implementation of various web applications.

· Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions using .NET technologies.

· Advanced Knowledge of C# and .NET Core.

· Create and maintain ASP.NET Web APIs for seamless integration with other systems.

· Advanced Knowledge of .NET Core.

· Experience with front-end technology, such as React or Angular.

· Adept in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

· Deep understanding of Database Architecture design, API design, and software architecture patterns.

· Establish and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

· Participate actively in analysis and design activities, contributing to technical approach and documentation.

· Engage in agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand- ups, and retrospectives.

· Experience with Docker, including building Docker images and managing Docker containers.

· Proficient in SQL Server.

· Familiarity with SQL database design, normalization, and optimization.

· Adhere rigorously to software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

· Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement complex projects.

· Deploy and manage applications on cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. (or another cloud platform).

· Familiarity with Git, Postman, VS Code, and other development tools

· Experience with the Healthcare Industry and HIPAA is preferred.

· Experience designing and maintaining unit tests.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are expected to fluctuate but at a minimum this position will be required to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Thursday) and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Friday), and occasionally after regular business hours. Travel may be required. The position operates in a professional office environment and the incumbent, in the course of performing this position, spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), standing, sitting, walking, and reaching. The incumbent operates all standard office equipment, motor vehicles, and mobile phones. The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those the incumbent can expect to encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a full-time position that may work standard business hours four to five days per week. Days and hours of work are expected to fluctuate significantly but at a minimum require work before, during, and after regular business hours. Presence in the office is required. The position operates in a professional office environment and will require significant time writing, typing, speaking, listening, driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), standing, sitting, walking, and reaching. Operation of all standard office equipment, non-CDL motor vehicles, and mobile phones and related technology, is expected. The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
